Daily Poetics // Kariann Blank I'm going to do this for MYSELF!!
Tabitha Dowswell It'd be great to do at a shower... have everyone that comes fill one of these out :)
Lauren Caldwell People did that at my shower. It was fun to do and to read together. I had to try and guess who each list belonged to based on their answers. Then my husband and I had a great time reading them together after everyone met. I can't wait to give them to our daughter when she gets older!!!

Laura Burns Consulting . @Cesca Faber that's exactly what I was thinking when I saw this photo! It looks pretty now, but I feel like it would not wear well.
Kierra Marderosian I was thinking how the bacteria could grow in that if it does come clean or dry properly
Lydia Campbell like a slave to fashion, I didnt give it a moments thought. Wrapped my odd knives and forks and laid the table. The kids were bemused, whats mum on now! after the third use and wash, they sensitively and subtly freed the cutlery before we ate. It looked great while it lasted.
Emuhly Geremia Im assuming it for a one time thing, like a wedding or fancy dinner

Fairies in a jar DIRECTIONS: 1. Cut a glow stick and shake the contents into a jar. Add diamond glitter 2. Seal the top with a lid. 3. Shake.

winkieflash This only works for a little while, right? I mean, after the stick stops glowing you can't let it glow again?
Rachel Federman Mhm, It's really only good for a party or something. Also, fyi, glitter isn't terribly visible in glowstick fluid, so it's mainly going to be a jar with globs of glowstick juice(with a lot pooled at the bottom). You're better off splatter painting the inside of a jar with glow in the dark paint, that way it will look more attractive and will be reusable.
Megan Webb it also looks nothing like that picture. here's a link to the one I made. I followed the same directions. It doesn't look at all like that, but it is still cool. http://judeandthewalrus.com...
Andrea Brewer BEWARE FOR SAFETY!!!!!!! The internal GLO stuff is extremely dangerous!!!! My daughter burned her mouth playing with one that must have cracked when she was about 4. We set it down on the restaurant table to help her. When we went to clean up the stick, it had literally removed the varnish from the table. table

Tina Price Nice. I always used brown paper bags in high school for my book covers. They were much more durable than the standard issue ones and they lasted all year long..
Tina Martinson @Tina I used brown paper bags, too, for the same reason. Great minds, eh?
Grace Bright In elementary school and junior high my mom always made our book covers, instead of using the ready made ones like the other kids used. Didn't appreciate then, of course!.
Tina Price LOL absolutely @Tina. I loved how you could use sharpies on them and the marker didn't go thru. I always "double bagged" mine, tho.
Lisa Ray I also used the brown paper bags, they were so durable, just wished we had the stamps then
lovely
