The key to preventing moldy berries? Vinegar! Rinse berries in one part vinegar (white or apple cider probably work best) and ten parts water. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria that might be on the surface of the fruit, and voila! Raspberries will last a week or more, and I've had strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft.

Lisa Pasley I got some really good tips from this one! I would have never thought to fill a pastry bag using a cup, add seedless preserves to flavor/color icing & the video on how to frost cupcakes was very helpful too
glenda taylor Going to try thanks for the tip.
