Victoria Lee Seriously, Lolita does not belong in the category of erotic fiction. It is a crime story, a drama about a sex predator. There is no love or consent in this story at all - none. It really doesn't belong on this list. I should add that I admire this story for Nabokov's ability to stay true to the story, to tell it honestly and without fear of how society would react. But whenever I hear anyone describe this as a love story, I feel that the point that Nabakov was making about this criminal - and he does make that very clear - was missed.

Claudia Jepsen Suddenly, a whole mess of Charles Dickens pins from Time Magazine are showing up on my boards uninvited. And there doesn't seem to be a way to delete them as they don't include Edit buttons. Is this happening to anyone else out there?

It sucked to go through World War II. This book will remind you why. There’s no point in trying to summarize "Inferno," because it’s a book written against summaries. It’s an anti-summary.

The author’s new short story collection, The Angel Esmerelda, slightly erases from memory the past decade and a half of his work.

The invective poets of ancient Rome had nothing on Scott Raab, whose new book is part LeBron James biography, part memoir, all unabashed diatribe.
