Love the idea of laminated cards for each subject, write the assignment(s) for that week in dry erase marker.

No more tying kids shoe laces!! Swap them out for elastics!! No sewing. Measure the elastic about 3/4 the length of the shoe lace. Replace lace with elastic. Tie off elastic to side, next to lace hole so its hidden. Now they are slip-ons. So much easier than tying and un-tying!!! Genius. I will do this with all my toddler shoes. Until they learn to tie on their own.
