Holy moly, what a terrific idea. Reuse your old t-shirts as produce bags! (Or, as the post suggests, beach bags for sandy items.)
Toilet paper rolls cut on side and use as a cuff to save your wrapping paper.

The next time you have green onions, don't throw away the white ends. Simply submerge them in a glass of water and place them in a sunny window. Your onions will begin to grow almost immediately and can be harvested almost indefinitely.

Whoa. = A standard mason jar will fit most blenders, turning it into a single-serve magic bullet type of contraption.

Cool idea. (Also, I love to see a Pin that needs absolutely no explanation.)

Jessica Kelley This would be great for shampoo and conditioner when travelling (longer straw lengths, of course) since the main problem I have with the 3oz/1qt liquids restrictions are the shapes of the travel-size containers. A bunch of tubes? Easy peasy!
Zippered Plastic Bags as Manual Storage. Put instructions in bags and tape them to the backs of the corresponding appliances.

Use toothpaste on picture hooks. Toothpaste marks the wall where you want it placed and allows you to easily nail and hang pictures. Brilliant!

Jana Lithgow This is so brilliant! I am always measuring and guessing wrong and swearing a lot when I hang things.
Tracy Gamble Jana, we have bought ALL MANNER of gadgets for wall hanging. This solves about 90% of the problems. It's a forehead-smacker, for sure.
Jana Lithgow I am repinning your pins like crazy - you find the best tips and recipes, I swear.
Tracy Gamble Related: do you know anyone who is hiring in DFW? ;) Hopefully my pinning streak tapers off in the next few weeks.
Laura Maxwell-Scott I know Jana, I've been repinning Tracy's pins for the past 2 days. Full of genius...that someone should hire soon!
Slip-proof your rug: To give an area rug some traction, flip it over, and apply lines of acrylic-latex caulk every 6 inches or so. Once dry, you can safely put down your rug; the rubbery strips will hold it in place...via Martha.
