Posing Guide for Photographing Couples

Portrait ideas-Downloadable posing guide!

This very popular "photograph" is almost all Photoshop. The girl's back, stomach, and most of her ribs were airbrushed out, arms and legs slimmed, legs lengthened by at least ten inches, hair added below the shoulders, etc. The retoucher completely REMOVED her navel and her left arm.

Distorted beauty brought to you by photoshop.

Perfect women don't have cellulite, right?

SORRY FRIENDS FOR THE NUDITY! Ironic that I used photoshop to cover her up a *very* little...it's sad that we're told these fake photos are what is expected of us to be "sexy". Even their own model can't live up to the expectation.

Question what you see.

There's something missing from the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover featuring the voluptuous 19 year-old blond model Kate Upton. Namely her famous curves. While many cover girls wind end up with a breast augmentation, courtesy of Photoshop, Upton's breasts seem curiously, well, petite. The 33D-25-36 bombshell also seems to have been digitally resurfaced below the waist in order present a smooth belly, complete with six-pack and a strangely absent nether region.

Women's Health magazine doesn't think Amber Heard needs ribs or internal organs. The gorgeous 'Rum Diaries' star’s midsection appears alarmingly slender on the cover of its December 2011 issue.

Want to look like the girl on the right? So does the girl on the left.

And now she's "perfect"!

Seeing other women-- real women-- totally changes my perspective

I used to wonder why celebs looked so great in a smoky eye, but it never worked on me. Simple... retouching. Britney with and without Photoshop.

Katy Perry with and without Photoshop.

Aniston withOUT Photoshop. Yep, the hair is gorgeous in real life... and attainable.

Kat Von D wearing lots of concealer over her tattoos, and the finished, retouched photo on the right.

Vanessa Hudgens, with and without makeup and Photoshop.

The gorgeous Eva Longoria without Photoshop.

"[Emily Blunt] and I would clutch at each other and cry because we were so hungry.” Anne Hathaway, on being forced to lose more weight for her role in The Devil Wears Prada, even though she was already thin. #skinny

Gisele Bundchen without makeup for Photoshop... she looks like the girl next door.

Jessica Alba without makeup or Photoshop... because unflattering pictures happen to all women, and they don't equate failure. #real #beautiful #truth

Kiera Knightley without Photoshop, photographed in Venice. Compare to her airbrushed "Pirates" shot on this board. #real

This is for all the "I'll be happy when my thighs no longer touch" girls. Almost everyone's thighs touch... but photo editors usually airbrush out the insides of women's thighs to get that certain "look" you're certain you'll get in a gym if you just work hard enough. Who made up this standard of beauty? This is Minka Kelly. She's tiny, tiny, tiny. Her thighs touch. She is not a failure as a woman. You aren't either. #attainable #beauty #thin #skinny #real

Supermodels without photoshop.

Christina Aguilera (better w/o the makeup IMHO)

Don't let marketers tell you you're not perfect!

AMAZING board that shows the power of photoshop. Beautiful people made flawless and we are left trying to achieve CGI 'perfection'.

It seems that natural beauty is rarely appreciated - it has to be altered to be accepted. No wonder so many people don't feel happy with their body image.

Supermodel Adriana Lima without makeup or Photoshop. There are several PSed images of her on this board.
