Take popsicle sticks and paint them the color of every wall in your house. Carry with you on the go to match furniture, curtains, decorations, etc.
Do this before making a gallery wall. Hold piece of paper on back of frame and mark with Sharpie where to put the nail-then tape back on wall and nail right through the paper! Voila!
Use painters tape to mark the holes of the items that require two nails to hang, then place the tape on the wall and drill your holes...
