Barbara Harris Ebert Often on my drive to work I see bison grazing. I've thought I need to leave the owners a note to let them know the sight of those beautiful animals make my heart smile.

*“Stagecoach” Mary Fields (c. 1832-1914) was born a slave in Tennessee and following the Civil War, she moved to the pioneer community of Cascade, Montana. In 1895, when she was around 60 years old, Fields became the second woman and first African American carrier for the US Postal Service.

Debora Marek Anstensen I looked at the history on their web page, this building has been moved, at one time it housed classrooms for Hellgate HS. I took a couple classes there in the 70s.n I'm thrilled this building has been brought back and is valued in the community.
Lindsay Alvestad I lived in the apartment complex next door-- loved walking by this all the time!
Kathy Hackman Hutchison Yes, the Greenough did go to the golf course before it burnt:( and Lindsay I am also thankful we still have this beautiful building to admire...and honor.
Gerrie Swartz Kathy ... Such a small world.l I was related to half the people in Milltown; all of the Dufresnes . Disbrows grocery store was family owned by my cousins for as long as I can remember (may still be). My mother's parents, aunts, uncles, cousins lived on the river side of the railroad tracks until the freeway moved them out.
Kathy Hackman Hutchison Mine were the Hackmans...and of course the grocery store is so well remembered. But I did not know many of the families there..I know my cousins would know the name though...I will try and remember,,but I don't see them very often..
