Pinterest is an online pinboard.
Organize and share things you love.
Great thoughts about the power behind Pinterest, and how we need to not make us wish we had a different life.

Stephanie Griffin How about this one: "I'm fixin to..." ;-D (Just chiming in from Atlanta...)
Theresa Ortega So true,
Karen Mitchell We might oughta
Sherri So happy to see y'all expanded correctly. Despite what faux Southerners in movies say, ONE person is NEVER y'all. (I'm smilin' like a possum eatin' sugah out of a hairbrush.)
Tsh Oxenreider I also need to clarify that 2 and up are "y'all." It doesn't have to be at least 4. Oh, and "y'allses" is totally a word, I agree. As in, "Let's go to y'allses' place for dinner."
How do I put this?...

Jaimie Franchi This is hilarious.
Alan's Wife so funny!
A fun and random (and yes, nerdy) podcast episode with J.K. Rowling as the guest. Love hearing all these Harry Potter behind-the-scenes tidbits, and it makes me love Rowling even more that she was a guest on a blogger's podcast.

Read the second paragraph, then look at his grade. For teachers everywhere.

Sunny Espanet I'd laugh at that if it wasn't so sad. I would HIRE that kid, he has ingenuity. However, that teacher should be fired.
J D It is dull to read essays over and over. I have been there. I wouldn't judge the teacher so harshly. The amount of grading a high school English teacher has to do is awful and burdensome. All best to the teachers out there!
Paula Nix Wow...definitely gonna read at least 2 paragraphs in when I grade from now on.
Heather D Whether it's dull or burdensome, it should still be done!
Kiasa Carini My mom is an English teacher. And she spends hours and hours grading essays. She is thorough, but she really gets paid pennies for the amount of time she puts in. I feel for both the kid and the teacher.
I remember this from college... (and I'm Chiariri Tokimimotaku Monakutoshikukitekushi.)
