Our plan for the master bath. Except just one sink, because I've never understood the necessity of two sinks in the master bath.

Deja Harrison Fine Homebuilding has some really nice past articles and books on kitchen design if you need inspiration. When we designed our kitchen, I used them frequently and it was abundantly available at our local library (Tantem Press). Best wishes on your new home. I remember doing this 8 years ago...
Tsh Oxenreider Thanks, @Deja Harrison!

Great color scheme for a boy's room (not just a nursery).

Great slideshow of front door paint ideas, complete with names and links of paint colors. This green one is my favorite.

Meagan @TheHappiestMom Love this! I hate our ugly metal front door; wonder if I could just paint it a fun color?
Faucet hooks on the wall. Would like this in a long row along the kids' bathroom.

Really great kitchen remodel that didn't break the bank.

Bathroom linen storage for our new house, from Ikea. But not in red.

Marissa We bought this when it was sold in yellow and painted it white to match our other furniture. I love it! We've used it in different homes for dishes, linens, as an office, etc. It's a really versatile piece. : )
Tsh Oxenreider Awesome! Good to know.
Like these open shelves from Young House Love.

Beadboard wallpaper. It's paintable, too.

Joy @GraceFullMama Do you think it would stick in the tropics?! I might need to get me some of that!
Erin Southwell GIrls, it's fantastic stuff. I shied away from it at first because I love real molding but it looks amazing on the wall, actually deep grooved. I used it in a nursery and a beach cottage kitchen. LOVE.
Pamela Collier I used this in a half bath over 2 years ago and it still looks great! Buy the good stuff though! I bought a cheaper brand from Lowes and it did NOT hold up well. I think I bought the good stuff from Graham & Brown (?)
Tsh Oxenreider That's this brand! Thanks so much for your $.02 here. I just may have to buy some! (And @Joy @GraceFullMama, let me know if you'd like me to mail you some. I'd be happy to.)
Jennifer Miettinen I've had this up for two years now and love it, but I would caution to not put it in a room where cats roam or toddlers play. :) I have many an extra groove that was not intentional. I also used Graham and Brown.

Maggie Haley That looks a lot like @Mandi {Life...Your Way}'s kitchen!
Tsh Oxenreider Hmm... Sorta!
Incredible before and after pics! Proof that a little paint on wood paneling goes a really long way.

I love this whole Scandinavian cabin, but especially the shower tile. You can do it out of pennies.

Lisa Sharp So very beautiful but the work involved would be crazy.
Missa Haarstad Would also be very cool out of soda bottle caps.
Love this quirky, simple-but-fun kids' bathroom makeover from @theinspiredroom.

Michele Desmarais And I loved reading the post she wrote about it. It made me smile. I need a zebra towel holder :)
Melissa * The Inspired Room Thanks for pinning this, Tsh!! :-)
Use 1x6 boards and paint, and you'll have a paneled wall effect.

I like the open shelves on top. On the bottom, not so much. This person doesn't have kids, I'd wager.

Laura Ellis-Lewis hehe agree with the people not having kids comment! It would take mine 5 seconds to destroy this :) But I do love those open shelves on the wall!
Love this master bedroom. I'd probably hang the pics a smidge closer to each other, but otherwise... great.

Fetching pins…
Anya Ansley That's funny, we wouldn't buy a house without double sinks in the master.
OrganizingMadeFun Becky I agree about one sink - we never use it at the same time either! I have a vanity in our bedroom so I'm never in the way! Love this bathroom too!
Catherine Peart I LOVE double sinks. We always had single sinks and I would rather not go back to that again. :-))
Becky I've heard a lot of people say that 2 sinks is a "must have" but to me the counter space seems like the important part. How long do you really spend brushing your teeth?
Melanie Keath i LOVE double sinks! so glad i don't have to race my hubby to the sink anymore ;-)
