Spring is coming and this is the BEST Weed Spray. I made 3 gallons for around $4.00 last year after seeing a pin. Worked better than Round Up & killed the weeds/stray grass on first application. One gallon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, 1/2 c table salt, 1 tsp Dawn. Mix and pour into a smaller spray bottle. (you can purchase 3 gallon size Apple Cider Vinegar in the canning section of a good hardware store - cheap!)

If you petrify a brush with dried paint, just soak it in Murphy's Oil for 24 to 48 hours and it dissolves all the paint and makes it like new. Totally pinnning this!!!!!

MATTRESS spring cleaning:pour about 1 cup of baking soda into a mason jar and drop in 4 drops of lavender essential oil. Put on the lid and shake up the jar.Using a kitchen strainer sprinkle the baking soda mixture all over the mattress and let it sit. I leave it for an hour or more, usually the time it takes for me to finish washing all the bedding and press the bed skirt. Using the hose end of your vacuum and an upholstery attachment, thoroughly vacuum the mattress. Bye, bye dust mites and other nasty things. The baking soda helps draw up any moisture and deep dirtiness. It deodorizes and leaves the mattress smelling fresh and clean. I also love the faint scent of lavender left by the essential oil.

Regular Dish Soap, Hot water, Foam Soap Bottle & Pump What you do: In an empty clean foam soap dispenser add 3 tablespoons of soap. I just use whatever dish soap I have on hand and reuse the bottles and pumps. Next add 2/3 cup of very warm water. Put the lid on, prime the pump and you’re ready to go.
