Liz Deane I have her! (My grandma had the best Hummel collection)
Grace My grandma had a few, but they were stolen from her home by home health aides when she was dying. So sad. Anyway, though there are none of hers to pass down, it's where my love of Hummels came from.

Grace I think it's just the place for you ... it's a "farm general store" but in NYC! And aren't you a bit of a New York girl on a farm? LOL! The thing I liked the best about the Laurie Colwin quote was the bit about when your friend has her mother's jelly mold, you want not only the mold, but the whole experience -- the family, the tradition, the experience of having grown up with jelly molded in it. That was so true for me ... I do not know if it's a good thing or not.
