Lynn Heinz My son's school even went so far as to have an actual funeral for "Said," one student made the coffin (a box), they all wore black, and they buried "Said" on the school grounds. This even made our local paper! LOL This was a fun and effective way to help the students realize that there are many synonyms that they can use, without using the same boring, tired words all of the time. :)
