ARDC 50th Anniversary

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Agricultural Research and Development Center is celebrating 50 years of research in 2012. We are looking for interesting stories about the ARDC and photos that will help us show how the center has changed in the past 5 decades. The information will be utilized in compiling a historical reference of the ARDC and may be published in print or electronic format. Share your stories at: ardc.unl.edu. What are we looking for? Here are a few ideas… * Photos from any time during the 50 years of the ARDC. We are also interested in photos from when the Nebraska Ordnance Plant was operational, or before the federal government constructed the ordnance plant - when there were family farms. Whenever possible, please include the names, date (can be approximate) and what is taking place in the photo. * Newspaper clippings. * Any type of memorabilia that you would be willing to let us photograph or scan – so that we can add to our collection of information.
