Barbara Shaurette I was in Chicago a few years ago for a conference, and a friend in town took me there, so I got to try this sandwich just once. I swear it is the best thing I have ever eaten.

Barbara Shaurette Oh I know I saw the recipe online somewhere - it was on one of those "top 20 best sandwiches" lists, but now I can't find the URL. :( They do have a cookbook though - 'The Chicago Diner Cookbook' - you can find it on Amazon.
