Photos from the region known as the Black Forest (German: Schwarzwald) in Southern Germany... this is, indeed, where I live. Our region has a beautiful landscape, ranging from forests to mountains to lakes and streams. We also have wonderful Swabian food, including the famous Black Forest cake (Schwarzwalder Kirschtorte).
