Sweet potato vines do best during the warm days of summer and prefer moist, well-drained soil. They thrive in sun or shade.

Rain chains are a beautiful and functional alternative to traditional, closed gutter downspouts. Guiding rain water visibly down chains or cups from the roof to the ground, rain chains transform a plain gutter downspout into a pleasing water feature. From the soft tinkling of individual droplets to the soothing rush of white water, they are a treat to listen to.

'Cheyenne Sky' grows a hefty 3 feet tall, forming a vaselike clump of blue-green foliage that switches color to a lovely burgundy red in early summer. In late summer, the plant is topped with small reddish flower panicles. And you can't beat 'Cheyenne Sky' for winter interest: This sturdy grass stands tall through frost and snow (until the heaviest of snow topples it).

Strawberry Pyramid. Build a pyramid planter for your strawberries. Each hole in the concrete block will hold more than enough soil for a strawberry plant. Wooden pyramid options I've seen waste too much soil under unused space. Once the plants grow in you will have a nice strawberry terrace effect. If you just make a border of blocks and don't terrace out the center, fill it with soil to plant some herbs or veggies. - Love it! This is the closest I have seen to what I want!
