Stretch your fabric softener and decrease waste! Take your favorite liquid fabric softener and soak an old hand towel or flour cloth completely with it. Wring it out and let it dry completely, then throw it in with your next load. This mega-fabric softener sheet should be good for at least 40 loads of laundry, stretching out softener use and lessening waste.

Tina Willmer No, you put it in the dryer. So it stays that way dryer load after dryer load. You can tell when it's time for a fresher one. It isn't as fragrant.

CFJ Aziz Great economizer idea, just be sure to regularly WASH the dryer filter (cleaning out lint ISN'T enough) because the residue that builds up from fabric softener creates a greater fire hazzard.

Masses of ways to repurpose light bulbs! These are all great and we don't need to buy anything much to do them! In an earlier pin I found how she is getting the bottom out of the light bulb and labeled it such so you can look in the board here for it. Simple. No waste of old light bulbs.
