To get your drain running again pour ; cup soda, then cup vinegar, down a clogged drain. Cover it with a wet cloth, wait 5 minutes, uncover, and flush with steaming-hot water. I will try to do this one once a month, done it once so far. w.

Place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle. The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor. Next, sprinkle a cupful of baking soda around the bottom of the tub and run it through a short cycle. The baking soda will help freshen and removing stains.

Dip the tip of an empty Swiffer Wetjet solution bottle into boiling water for about 10 seconds and the lid twists off (use a towel). Refill with your preferred cleaning solution at appropriate dilution and re-cap.

After reading about this, I tried it, and it is great. I noticed that some meat had dripped out shortly after cleaning my fridge and lining it with Press n Seal, and so I just ripped off the piece and slapped a new one on, easy peasy. Plan on keeping up with this great idea.

Lynn Thaxter This makes great filling for home made turtle chocolates. I used to teach making home made chocolates.

Did you know that a teaspoon of honey (raw is best) and a 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon will usually knock out a cold within a day or two? Take twice a day for 3 days for best results. I told my 16 yr. old son about this and he tried it, and it worked, so the next time he felt a cold coming on he tried it again, and it worked. Then I felt a cold coming on and also tried it, with success. There has got to be something to this, and I think it is wonderful!!

Shower head cleaner: 1/3 c baking soda, 1 cup white vinegar, 1 plastic bag & 1 twisty tie.....I recently tried this with my shower head, and while it didnt look remarkably different, Im sure it must have cleaned it up enough to make it work a bit better.

Great idea! Freshen the air each time you go to the bathroom, with this handy trick. When you get out a new roll of toilet paper, place a few drops of your favorite essential oil in the cardboard tube of the toilet paper. This will release the scent of the oil each time the paper is used.

I recently made a dozen of these breakfast sandwiches and popped them in the freezer, so easy to make. My husband tried them this morning and said they were quite good except the english muffins were a tad crunchy so the next time I make these I will not toast them quite as long.

This coconut-pineapple bread is delish, and my family agrees, especially my husband who loves coconut!

This is the first (of many I hope) recipe I've tried from Pinterest, made it last night, and let me tell you, it was delicious! My husband and son both thought so too! And it is so simple to do
