I LOVE THIS --- Original pinner says "Every year our kids must put 10 unwanted toys in their Santa bags. We put the filled bags under the tree on Christmas Eve. The idea is that Santa takes the old toys back to the North Pole to fix them up and evenutally give to other kids. Santa leaves new toys in the bag for Christmas morning. New toys are unwrapped and only the "family gifts" under the tree are wrapped. No wasting of wrapping paper and it's so fun to see the kids' instant reaction as they pull the toys out of the bags one at a time. On Christmas Eve, I toss the old toys in a black trash bag and hide them until I'm able to get them to Goodwill or a service center. This is such a great way to declutter, recycle old toys, and teach the kids about giving."

I adore this idea! Advent calendar with wrapped books under the tree. Open and read one every night until Christmas! a must next year when Beck is bigger. Plus, such a sweet tradition to start.
