Kate N.G. we whitewashed our floors but the poly on top turned yellow and we ended up painting the floors instead, so you can't see all the knots. very sad :(

Dina Eriksen Be wary of glossy black floors. We have black granite tile and if it weren't a rental it would be the first thing I'd change. Every single thing shows up: pet hair, people foot prints, the tiniest drop of water. And they streak like crazy... I spend more time buffing that floor dry than I do cleaning anything else in the apartment!
