Ashley Everett My daughter has that scar. She had her first surgery when she was 3 and her second last summer she is almost 6. Hopefully that was the last one.
Sara Sunderman My son belongs to the zipped club. First surgery at 18 hrs old. Second surgery a week before he turned four. Almost ten. AV node completely blocked. Will forever have a pacemakers. Thanks fr sharing

Ashley Lancaster My sweet little Claire has the same scar. At 2 weeks they found a infantile myofibroma in her thymus. To remove it they had to perform the same procedures done in an open heart surgery. Now she is 18 months and a healthy toddler! ♥
Alissa Dixon My fourth child Maddox has a zipper!! Surgery in-utero at 30 weeks and first open heart at 3weeks Boston Children's. He's 2.5 yrs old and my little hero!! These CHD kids are simply AMAZING!!

Renee Smith LOL, do you have hoards that assume you are pregnant any time you mention a cute kid or a pregnant mom, too? I just keep qualifying my statements - I can like babies, and not be pregnant. I imagine this problem is even bigger when your blog is followed by gazillions of people!

Natalie Parish I'm thinking that these can be made a lot easier. Using half a clear boilled sweet (maybe less, trial and error) on a baking tray - put in oven and melt. then follow with the same cuttcutting technique.

Alison Campbell We had a dwarf lemon tree inside for a couple of years. It did well but needed lots of light. We put a full spectrum grow light on it at night during the winter and took it outside during the summers. We got wonderful blossoms and lemons. I played bee with a paintbrush. Now we live in California and it is outside year round, but still it the pot.
