Ashley Everett My daughter has that scar. She had her first surgery when she was 3 and her second last summer she is almost 6. Hopefully that was the last one.
Sara Sunderman My son belongs to the zipped club. First surgery at 18 hrs old. Second surgery a week before he turned four. Almost ten. AV node completely blocked. Will forever have a pacemakers. Thanks fr sharing
Liz Fiorentino This hurts my heart! It makes me so sad to see that people need surgeries so young :(
Ashley Lancaster My sweet little Claire has the same scar. At 2 weeks they found a infantile myofibroma in her thymus. To remove it they had to perform the same procedures done in an open heart surgery. Now she is 18 months and a healthy toddler! ♥
Alissa Dixon My fourth child Maddox has a zipper!! Surgery in-utero at 30 weeks and first open heart at 3weeks Boston Children's. He's 2.5 yrs old and my little hero!! These CHD kids are simply AMAZING!!

Donna - Funky Junk Interiors Hey Buffy! My stairs were in Flea Market Style in March 2011. And no need to collect those crates. These designs were hand painted on the stairs with stencils. :) Thanks everyone! Huge kudos to see so many thumbs up here!

Shannon Kramer Mandi ROCKS.
Tanya from Dans le Townhouse This really is gorgeous - esp. with the bright chandelier
Pat Burrows I wonder if this will make the room bigger or smaller. This room appears tall and narrow. Do you think that's the effect?
Shannon Kramer I think it makes it look taller. The chandy kind of brings it back to earth, but the herringbone design makes it seem so much taller and expansive.

Jackie Buford You need a carbide tip drill bit made to drill glass or ceramic and drill slowly with light pressure. Per my husband :-)
Suze Lewis This is a truly dangerous enterprise. If you drill too fast or with the wrong blade it could explode into your eyes, face, children..etc. Have a glass shop do it for you, they have the appropriate equipment. I was a production glass worker for many years, trust me.
